L&Q’s unwanted and unviable plans will be decided by Waltham Forest Councillors at a special public meeting at Waltham Forest Town Hall complex on the evening of 8 May.

Saveourstow would like as many people to attend this vital public meeting as possible. Please come along and spread the word to family and friends. We must show the decision makers of this borough that we do not want a housing estate on our beloved Stow.

You can all do so much to help. Please e mail your family and friends to ask them to attend the meeting and ask them to do likewise. Please send a message or e mail and suggest other ways of spreading the word. Please put a message up on your website, or mention the meeting on Facebook and Twitter.

We also have A3 size posters (aimed at shops/offices etc) and A5 leaflets (to put through doors or to hand out outside supermarkets, train stations etc). If you are prepared to approach shops, offices etc for us or spend an hour or two standing outside train stations, supermarkets handing out A5 leaflets etc please e mail us at: and we will post you whatever A3 posters and/or A5 leaflets that you feel that you could distribute for us. Please just leave your address (we will send by special delivery) and how many of each poster/leaflet you want us to send to you. We would suggest that this is relevant anywhere within the borough of Waltham Forest.

If you would like to make a financial donation to the campaign you can do so via the paypal button above-all proceeds are used for leaflets, posters and advertising or other costs directly relating to the campaign. Everybody working on the campaign is an unpaid volunteer.

We look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your continued support.
