Save our Stow press statement

The SAVE OUR STOW committee are pleased to advise greyhound supporters of a potential breakthrough in our quest to bring greyhound racing back to our beloved Stow.

Richard Leach, our financial adviser/broker, has advised us that an American consortium who already own dog tracks and have a successful record of developing multi-function commercial sites intend to start talks with London and Quadrant to acquire the site in the very near future.

SOS spokesman Rick Holloway says ‘This is a very promising development and , like all other true greyhound fans, I can now only hope that these talks lead to the return of greyhound racing at Walthamstow Stadium’

Hear hear! A few people have been asking me how it is all going with the protest etc, and i have seen mixed views on various sites with some people virtually giving up with it all because they thought there was not a lot happening. It is fairly obvious that there is always a lot of ‘red tape’ when it comes to these kind of matters, e.g, meetings, emails/letters etc. This has got to be good news right? I always say that it is never over until it is truly over. Save Our Stow!
