On this Thursday 4 September, the Save Our Stow consortium will be meeting with architectural designers to view alternative plans tto be put forward to the Council and L&Q (who now own the site) as part of their Stow Vision 2012 proposals. They’ll present these plans to the Council on 17 September. Quoted in the Racing Post, 27 August 2008, Ricky Holloway says of this meeting:
“We have seen major flaws in the original ideas for the site from L&Q, and this is a real chance to highlight those. We know what the Councillors at Waltham Forest to come off the fence and support what we are trying to do for the area.”
