Government Minister Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith has called for the immediate release of L&Q’s Viability Assessment this week following the Information Commissioners Office’s decision that Waltham Forest Council must release the assessment to Saveourstow.
In a statement Mr Duncan Smith states :
“I welcome this decision as it is important for my constituents to know what the viability assessment amounted to, as well as what assumptions L&Q made to arrive at it. I am also determined that the Mayor has an opportunity to see it before he reaches his decision on L&Q’s plans. I cannot understand what they had to hide and urge them to release the assessment this week and not drag it out to delay the publication.”
